I'm getting ready to apply new side art to my Missile Command Cabinet. I'm interested in hearing opinions on the following:
1. Do you remove the monitor and boards from the cabinet before laying it on its side? I would rather not gut the cab if I can avoid it.
2. Once the side art is removed, do you recommend any surface prep? I've heard some people primer the sides and others don't.
3. What is the best material to use for filling small holes/gashes? I've seen Bondo Wood filler, and automotive glazing putty used.
4. Should I apply wood hardener to the edges before installing new T molding?
