I am looking to buy a Apollo 13 pinball. I have found one reasonably close to me and he is offering $1700 for it in excellent shape. Is that a good price for this pin?

that pin is worth every bit of $1500-1800 depending on condition, IMO......but again, like DC stated, it's all about location and availability.

where i'm at..............i'd spring for the $1700 and not look back. A13 is a very fun pin.....they just don't come up around here very often.

i missed one a few hours from me for $800.......i passed because i am not looking for a apollo 13 but i wish i would bought it. i think they go for around $1300-1500 usually. make sure the membrane switch works....they are like $228? i think for a apollo 13. i had to buy a much smaller one for my twister and it was STILL $46

That's what I got mine for...at that price I had to get it, even though I wasn't really looking for one. Surprisingly, it's much cooler than I had anticipated (most people collectors bash it). I still have to fix some burnt transistor issues that are affecting the trough kickout, so I haven't really jammed on it that much - but I'm very impressed by the modes and toys....and even the simple ball-controlled ramp divertor. I'm surprised Stern hasn't used that....it's a totally cheap way to get more fun out of one ramp.

I am in Dallas area. I am willing to drive to get it, the cost though to rent a truck is going to be really high, so I am limited in what I can pay for truck rental, gas and the pin.

just strap it on top of your prius, dude. ;)

Prius, screw that! I am too tall to fit into one of those puny things. I like my car, it is sporty and a comfortable ride, aint gonna strap it to that though. I will just have to rent a truck, for the right price on the pin, the cost would be worth it.

Thank you to everyone for your advice :0)

Nope, didn't get it. The cost was more than I could spend on it with everything involved, shipping, pin, etc... Still looking for one.
