A couple pins came up locally... Apollo 13 and Godzilla... guy wants $1,200 each. I am thinking of going to take a look at them... any thoughts?

I have never played or heard anything about Godzilla but I thought Apollo 13 was OK. The 13 ball multiball is a wild feature but annoyed me pretty quickly. They are DMD machines but they are Segas so there is not much demand if you are looking to resell. I don't think I'd pay more than $900 for Apollo 13 or $750 for Godzilla.

Those are 2 good Sega pins Frizz; that's saying much usually they suck! Apollo 13 is cool with 13 ball multiball but is kind of easy to master all the shots. I actually like Godzilla too. Some of the sound samples are repetitive and annoying but the gameplay itself; I kindof like. I believe Godzilla is the rarer of the two. Pricewise I would pay 1200k for a "really" nice Apollo but not more than 900 for a Godzilla but if you like the Godzilla theme. Go for it!

I played Godzilla once. Absolutely tore it up, played for at least 15 minutes. My wife says, this must be an easy one. :) Maybe the settings were very liberal, but I was just waiting for it to end. Multiball was very easy to get.

Godzilla is pretty easy...but it's kind of a cool game. It's pretty rare too - although not entirely hard to get. I like the backglass, the shaker motor, the magnets, and the overall look of the game w/ the giant lizard hovering over the ramps. But yeah, gameplay wise, it's all multi-ball, all the time. No real rules aside from that.

Apollo 13 just sucks.

Just trying to imagine a 13 ball multiball nearly makes my head explode! There should never be more than 4 balls in a multiball IMO. Anything more than that is plain stupid and/or gimmick.
