I've got an A.P.B. that I will be selling or parting out next month and was just wondering about the ballpark prices of these parts. I only ask because I've never parted a game out before and feel a bit at a loss as to if I'm asking too much or too little.

marquee - pretty nice shape, 2 or 3 small spots where paint has chipped ($30)

bezel - a bit faded, not too bad ($20)

med rez monitor - pretty substantial APB burn-in, recently capped & flyback replaced ($85)

control panel - complete, dirty, no peeling ($40)

pedal - works, some rust ($15)

Sys 2 motherboard - works fine ($75)

APB pcb - works fine, no glitches ($50)

seat - solid but rusted, side decals yellowed, 1 rip in seat material ($65)

Thanks for any input....

I guess I just wouldn't call it a System II PCB, but your right APB is considered System II.

System 2 normally uses a 2 PCB solution. 1 is the CPU board the other is a Video board.

All other System 2 games use this same PCB combo and can be swapped around.

1 Single PCB.

Edit: Frizz, you may be right. I was thinking Toobin. The above is true though. Can you swap an APB board into the other games?
Also, looks like I'm either looking at the wrong picture or APB used both the single PCB or the Dual PCB. Weird?

So, Cartouche is yours a single PCB?

Well, I just dbl-checked mine and it does indeed have 2 boards. The APB board up top and the Atari System 2 video board down below.

Now how 'bout those prices? Any opinions?

Not sure whats up with that single PCB, but I am 99.9% sure my A.P.B. had a standard System 2 2-board solution like this one:

EDIT: Nevermind...duh... that single PCB is simply the System II main-board (top)... you can see the edge connector slot at the bottom.

Yeah, it's weird. Another site shows the single version as well with a different pic.

Cartouche, I don't think your prices are bad. APB is a tough one though. Kinda unique layout and cab.

Hey-

That picture of a 'single-board APB' is just whacked.
Compare that with the board in the other picture. The layout is the same, but the 'single-board' picture looks stretched. One is stretched or the other is shrunk, but it's the same board.

Check the edge connector at the bottom too. What would that plug into except the 2nd board of the set.

No single board System 2 sets.

Not to be confused with the Bally MCR series where there WERE some single board games as well as multi-board sets for the same game. They called them monoboards. I think Xenophobe and Sarge came in both styles. (or is that MCR2? or MCR3?) It's MCR something...

The prices you list comes to $380.00. I sold my A.P.B. complete for $400 if I remember right and it didn't have the seat. (then again, it could have been $300...I can't remember 100%). In any case, sell it whole if possible.

OK, if I can get one of these audio II boards to work correctly. No way I'm paying QA $30 plus 15 shipping for a new one.
