Before I got mine I had assumed that the high scores were saved in the cartridge. But apparently that is not the case and even in the manuals it tells you if you swap games, all the save game data will be gone.
Then I googled the problem and saw someone make a mention that if you switch cartridges and turn on the new game, then the old high scores is wiped. But if you just take a cartridge out and put it back in without turning the Atomiswave on, the highscore will be fine. Apparently the high scores are saved in the actual Atomiswave system and not in the cartridge, and it can only hold 1 games high score at a time. And that does make sense.
But I was wondering if there is any way to hack it or anything so that you can save high scores for multiple games. I got one with 2 light gun games to put in my cabinet with a switcher, so it would be nice to be able to play and get high scores and swap games without losing the scores.
Worst case scenario if I really want, I might just get a second Atomiswave if I come across a cheap one. But since I like to tinker and do things out of the norm, I was wondering if there is anyway at all to have one Atomiswave system save high scores for multiple games.
