Anything to keep in mind when you de-case a tv for the tube?

I just found an old 19 inch zenith tv at a thrift store for 3 bucks and couldnt help but buy it so I can use it for a donor for my many projects. I know all about discharging the anode and stuff cuz i've worked on monitors before. I just want to make sure there isnt anything else I should keep in mind before I decase it. Thanks for any help!

If you haven't done it before, you may need spacers for the tube to fit the frame properly.

Otherwise, I save the neckboard socket, and scavenge some pots and stuff from the TV chassis before i through it away...

You'll probably have to splice in the connectors off the old tube and yoke, unless you're swapping the yokes. The degauss ring may plug in the same.

Send me the make/model of the TV, as well as the number off the tube, and if you happen to take readings off the yoke, those too :)

Oh yeah....please? :)
