Anything new from JROK coming up?

He should do something "vector". ;)
I vote for Cinematronics Multi FPGA. (other promises [cinelabs] have fallen short; time to take up the challenge)

Atari and SEGA vector multi-boards, as long as we're talking multi-vectors. 😃

MCR would be cool, but let me fix all my spare stacks so I can sell them :)

I'd buy one, especially if the Vectorbeam games were compatible.

It would be awesome if it would allow you to set up cabs for otherwise impossible to find games like QB-3, Sundance, Boxing Bugs etc, and it would be 1000 times more awesome if somehow it allowed you to use more common vector monitors instead of those horrible Cinematronics ones.

Yes, there are some great rare games like Warrior and War of the Worlds I'd love to be able to put in a cab.

I guess you could design all of the DAC elements from the monitor into the FPGA? But if you did then you probably couldn't use it with the original monitor. Also, each game has a unique sound board. On the Cinelabs board you can see the pins for multi-sound. How good would that be and how many games could it really cover?

Problems aside, I'd love to see it.

VL has already done the SEGA vector multi-boards with multi-sound. Not much point in doing it again.

MCR sets are common and reasonably reliable and repair sources are easily available and inexpensive.

I'd rather see him focused on something that would otherwise be not reasonably obtainable. :)
