I was just wondering if there are any good arcade related places in Manhatten, NY? I may have to go to NYC for work and was looking for a place to visit to pass some of the time. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

Seriously!? Manhatten? Anybody? One of the biggest cities in the world and nothing!? Stuck in this city for a month with no arcade. What a jip! I'll have to see where Barcade is and maybe take the subway.

I was just looking at the subway lines that go to Brooklyn. How is that part of the town? Shady? Or good for a few co-workers to travel at night? Knowing this bunch at least one of them may have to stumble back with some assistance.

There isn't much in the city unless you want to check out a mediocre Dave & Busters.

Just go to Barcade in Jersey City -- it's easier to get to from Manhattan than making your way to Williamsburg anyway. Take a PATH train to Grove St and walk 2 blocks.

The only thing scary about Williamsburg are the real estate developers.

That part of Brooklyn seemed fine. We had no issues. Really cool crowd at that place, seems like a trendy neighborhood. TONS of hot chicks.

Chinatown Fair has reopened.

Barcade

Williamsburg is very hip. Like SOHO used to be. Lots of good places to eat too.

Save the cab fare, take the subway. It's only a couple of stops out of Manhattan.

Go to Barcade and eat dinner a few doors up at DUMONT. Trust me you will be happy though note weekend evenings at both places are pretty darn busy.

They had a video on Kotaku.com.. It's all redemption horseshit.

No, they added redemption but it has standard video games too. Guess they're trying for the family dollar and an image change. The public will vote via the cashbox.
