Anyone want to try to fix my idiot mistake? (PCB repair)
So I got in Matt Osbourn's high score save kit for my perfectly good, clean working Gyruss...and managed to screw it up. Ugg.
When trying to remove the original RAM I botched it like a novice and ripped up some traces and burnt out some of the existing solder points. Being the prideful being I am, I tried to repair...which didn't help and may have damaged the board even more. When I put the PCB back in all I got was static gibberish.
Anyways I feel like an idiot and am hoping someone here much more qualified in PCB repair would take pity on me and be willing to try to fix my idiocy.
FYI also, I managed to break off about 3 tips from the prongs on the new RAM and 24-pin socket. If I need to get replacements from Matt I will...
Help?
