I might be in the need for 20 or so Tron's across the country. I'm not looking for pristine, just OK shape and working.

I think I can get away with giving away 100% of the income or at least 75%. These are going to be used in movie theatres as part of the Tron Legacy release this year. The games will either be showcased in the game room or as a center piece in the lobby.

Interested parties please email me at mmacdonagh at cinemark dot com

Tron

If I have a couple to put on location, can I put my logo and contact info on the game for the players incase they want to buy it? I had to ask. Cheap plug I know.

So what kinda money would one make for lending a Tron to you? Also how could you guarantee anybody would see it again and giving back in the same shape it left???

I have one, If its local im in!!

Nothing in the state of Washington. I'm thinking that were going to be looking at all parts of California, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Albuquerque, Des Moines(sp?), Denver, Colorado Springs, maybe Reno, Chicago and perhaps Tucson.

Don't you guys use tokens? LOL

so, three tokens per play then? :D

I am game. There are three Cinemark theatre clusters near me. How long is the "rental"?

This makes me think...

Will Namco or Disney or whomever come out with a "TRON Reunion" cabinet or a "TRON 30th Anniversary Edition" like they did with Ms Pac/Galaga???

I have no idea as to the kind of money the game can make. I also cant make any guarantees that the games wont see some sort of damage while in operation in the wild. Thats the chance that operators take.

I can tell you that it looks like were going to be able to give away 100% of the income (still pending) to the operator and that the "rental period" should be about a month to 5 weeks. A few weeks before the movie opens and at least 1-2 weeks after.

Yeah, were on tokens at our in house locations. Some of our third party locations are still on quarters.

I will supply coin mechs but the operators will have to supply locks.

What area are you in Tom? I know you've told me in the past but I cant find it.

I have to admit that is a very cool idea...so the ops would have to be on call if it breaks down??

I've got close ties to manufactures (worked for Betson for almost 10 years) and have not heard a word about a new Tron coin-op game.

San Jose (downtown) I just sent you an email too.

Tom

Thanks Tom. You can probably pick and choose where you put them in that area. Har far into the East bay would you be willing to go? Union City is probably going to be a great location for the game.

Ha! "when" they fail. Nice...unfortunately, sad but true. I have a wizze power supply in mine, GGG handle and even a white blacklight under the control panel.

Would prefer Century 21, 22 or Oakridge if Possible.
