Anyone want to install a Pac-mend kit in southern RI ?

OK,heres the deal...I have an upright Pac-Man Im installing http://www.lizardlick.com/Lizard-Lick-Deluxe-Jamma-to-Pac-Adapter_p_118.html and http://www.lizardlick.com/LL-60-in-1-Vertical-Multi-Jamma-Game-Board_p_129.html into..Ive cleaned the connections, fuse block etc,etc and I still come up with "board" errors on the power supply "check lights"(led that lets you know if its functioning properly)..LONG story short, after MANY hours on the phone w/ the build/tech guy I sent everything to him to test(including my old 48 in 1 board)and they tested fine..he suggested a Pac-mend kit,as is the norm for Pac-Mans..Heres the problem..My wife just started a new job,and Im NOT the best solderer on the plant,PLUS I would love to have someone who knows their stuff to help weed out any issues..This is the last game Im going to be getting for a while(till I get a bigger house Cheesy )So if theres someone who wants the job,Im located in southern RI,right off 95 on the Connecticut / Rhode Island border(zip is 02804)..My wife wants this game OUT of the mudroom (where its easy to work on)and IN where it belongs (dark/cramped Tongue ) you can PM/email me if anyone interested..Thank you! I'd come by and help......

..but I won't be back up that way until maybe sometime in July. Way too cold and snowy there now.

The "Pacmend" kit "fixes" burned out edge connector fingers on a pacman board... It's got nothing to do with the problems you're having.

Was it working as pacman before you pulled the board to hack it?

"Pac-man was working ok before it was pulled..but after I tried the multi board,(and that was failing;not properly booting, loading, etc)I tried putting the original Pac-Man back and it started not working properly. I sent the new multi + power supply/adapter to the tech and he said he plugged them into a pac he had and they were fine..I tested the voltage while on the phone with him and he said they all tested within the correct range but the connection could be weak at the edge connection..The issue was the red light on the power supply/jamma adapter had was it has a steady glow;"Steady red LED means software error or RAM error on game board." I would love to hear any other solutions I could try to resolve this. Thank you.Jeff

I also have a cap kit that could be installed if someone might be interested on top of help troubleshoot/install the Pac-mend kit Thanks,Jeff PS...you guys know Im actually going to PAY cash for these services..right? ;-)
