I want to use a neg-comp-sync-only monitor in a Carnival, which has separate positive sync. Now, looking at the Carnival manual, I see this:

I'm guessing that means I could disconnect the separate positive Horizontal and Vertical sync on 22 and 23, and connect to pin 25 for negative composite sync, right?

Otherwise, I'll have to do a sync inversion mod...

For the record - yes, you can use pin 25 for negative composite sync.

Also, since I was using a Toei CM-A20HC that is 100vac instead of the 120vac of the previous monitor, I needed to do something about that. The isolation transformer in the Carnival has the 120 for the monitor coming out on red and yellow wires. But - there is also a red/white wire that when used with yellow has 108vac, which was fine for the 100vac monitor.

Just in case someone has a monitor like mine and wants to use it to resurrect a Carnival cab...
