Anyone Used A Jeep Patriot To P/U Arcades?

I got a Pac Man into the back of a 1986 Dodge Colt once.

based on dimensons it looks like it should be fine for most cabs besides the large midway style (mk series) and golden tee. curious though if people have used it in the past.
thanks

just got a new ride (07 patriot) and wondered if people have used it for hauling arcades?
thanks

Actually yes.

Friend of mine sold a mame cab that was roughly the size of a pac cab. Someone came with a patriot and picked it up. threw his seats down and moved his front passenger seat all the way forward. We set the cab on its side and set it at an angle so that the highest point of the cab fit snug with the back of the front passenger seat. Barely made it but it did fit.

good news for sure! thanks for sharing. i just noticed that even the front passenger seat lays almost flat. still exploring this beauty. its got built in flash lights near the rear dome light too!

it'd take so many trips to move an arcade,
you really should rent a 24 foot box truck.

I used a Jeep Patriot to pick up a Track and Field cabinet. I had all of the seats down and had slid the front seat all the way to the front and was able to get the trunk to shut. I believe it was a 2015 Patriot.

sweet deal! i think im going to try loading one up tonight just to test it. amazingly, from my measurements it looks like even my mk2 might fit on its side.

oh yes the old adage of "its not an arcade, its an arcade machine." very good. keeping us on our tows(see what i did (their) and here) one english lesson at a time.

so i figured i would try to fit one of my arcade machines in the patriot so i knew what the reality of picking up games with it really is. the lucky test machine "karate champ". i cant say it did not fit, but i can say it is not ideal. in fact it might be impossible to drive the actual car. i do think there are two things that could be done to make it much easier. one is to remove the passenger seat in the front. four screws and one molex. its so easy its almost like they thought someone would want to do it. the other is to remove part of the arm rest. doesnt look quick or easy. i think a pacman, galaxian, exc. size cab would fit ok as well as cabarets. a pinball machine of any manufacturer would be an easy fit with the head off or turned sideways. bottom line is a small trailor would pull behind this rig very nicely. i think thats the route i will be going. enclosed preferably. here are some pics.

I've picked up most of my cabs in a '08 Ford Edge. They mostly fit, occasionally dripping out of the back. Nothing a few ratchet straps can't fix.

yea it would be no problem to have it hanging out the back a foot. i looked into a trailer hit setup and for $200 id get the hitch, wiring harness, receiver and ball. probably go that route.
