Anyone use/see this blacklight?

Are those made of blacklight LED's? I didn't know they made them. How cool would it be to build your own blacklight signs using those! I bet some of you guys would come up with some awesome ideas.

I have modified a cheap flashlight from HFT to use BL LEDs. Wasn't hard to do. I have about 100 BL LEDs in my tool bag and was planning to mount them in my pushbuttons on my home MAME unit when/if I get my white or UV reactive buttons.

I have one. My room is still a work in progress, so I don't have it up yet. I did open it and test it out and it works, makes all the whites glow just like a regular fluorescent black light. The things I can't tell you yet is how good it lights up black light carpet or coverage.

Its made in China (like everything) but has a commercial feel to it. Lots of metal and it has dip switches for the different modes and link settings. I can get some actual pictures of it later on if you're interested. My gameroom is going to be 12x25, which is about what this thing is made to cover. Seems small for that, I was thinking I might need a second one, but wanted to try it first.

Cool website. Didn't realize there was that much BL available. Has anyone ever tried the black light CFL? http://www.blacklight.com/items/FTBPESL13T-BLB

I have 2 CFL blacklights in one of my 25" dynamo cab marquee's. They work pretty well.

I also have the 120 LED blacklight 'bulbs' that are great too.

I was curious about this 'flat panel' deal because I dont want 48" tubes all over the place so I'm trying to find some more low profile ways to throw blacklight. These things daisy chain so you could put a bunch together but they are not cheap...

Cheap is a relative term when it comes to intelligent lighting. I used to have a set of 4 of these guys (about $3200 each). Of course, they could provide a pretty intense light show in a warehouse to 600-1000 people.

Found a demo of the technobeam baby brother, the "Emulator" from 1991... pretty cool!
