Anyone use foam filler to protect items in shipment?
I just saw this:
http://lifehacker.com/5836523/make-...-your-tools-or-precious-gear-with-foam-filler
and given that i just sent a $225 PCB out and my Star Wars PCB out too, it made me think with a little work it wouldn't be too hard to make a custom, form-fitted shipping box for valuable arcade stuff. I ended up using a Samsung LCD box and used the styrofoam that came with them as extra protection and I think they are very safe but it seems like I could have used the box but used foam filler to create a custom protective case for the PCBs. The article says it only costs about $4 a can - seems like cheap protection if you're willing to do it.
