20250219_114957.jpgI tried Haunted Castle last year and as Castlevania fan, I found HC just simply HORRIBLE. I heard that the Revisited version was good and bought the dominicus version just for this little known remaster. I have been finding it pretty fun and even more fun on the my CloNoir.

So does anyone here have a steamdeck and have games they think would play well with only digital controls?

When Konami does a Castlevania Chronicles on Steam with SoTN and Rondo of Blood, I would be over the moon!

You'd probably have to get a steamdeck to USB-C to HDMI dock. Then the controls would be dependent on which games you run. Lots of games on steam can use the steam controller or an Xbox/XInput controller.

Personally you might be better off just getting a slim PC and throwing it into your candy cab.

My CloNoir (clone noir) has hacked X360 controlers wired to the JAMMA harness which in turn plug into my Xbox 360. I had a HDMI steamdeck dock already so everything jacked right up. I only needed to add a 3.5 mm audio to stereo coax to get the sound piped to the cab amp.

i have since been on the prowl for arcade console games which have been released on steam.

Street Fighter 6, 5 and Ultra 4
Tekken 7
Soul Calibur 6
DariusBurst seems to have a pretty good port to Steam also with support for twin monitors.

My CloNoir is only 720P so the res matches well with the Steamdeck. I feel like the recent games are a bit more power Hungry and I really dont want to power my arcade setup off of a portable console. Ive been watching YouTube videos on AMD powered Mini PCs with the Steam OS installed. I can either go this route or eventually get whatevet Fremont/Steam console they currently are working on for release later this year. I imagine that the Valve product will give me the most Bang for the buck at time of launch

If your looking for a list of arcade friendly PC games, I have one someone made up....

I noticed that the current Pacman Museum + has a port of Pacman Battle Royal so I purchased it with the hope that it would be a full featured port. Its on sale right now for $10

It looks good so I hope to get it runing on my Noir cab with two satellite joysticks as I have a pair of the Namco Tekken 360 joystick and just need the wireless dongle to USB to connect them for the extra players for Battle Royal. Need to install 4 way gates on all the sticks and it will be a really great setup for Battle Royal. i could additionally get an HDMI splitter and mirror it on the 85" TV.

Yeah thats a fun game
Definately if you can get a bunch of people into it. i want to put my Namco Noir in the center and have two wireless joysticks for players on the two sides.

Looked into the lists mentioned and yeah they cover the main basics. Nothing shot out completely put of left field.

No one mentioned:
Tetris TGM4 which is a great pickup considering the 1-3 JAMMA boards are so expensive.
