Anyone want to have an ulgiest game contest...

Perhaps if we get enough people to enter the contest ... Everyone can pitch in a buck for the entry fee and we could get a trophy.

Winner on Near Years Eve?

rules?

Possible rules:

1. Contestant must be standing in picture for verification.
2. Game should be intact. No entries with a generic cab on fire, torn apart, or feces on the bezel (that'd be too easy).
3. Anyone else have ideas?

Optional:

Have two categories. One contest for mame/ custom cabs and another for the standard, coin-operated arcade games.

I could win this contest right now. I picked up a Paperboy for a local who bought it crappy and broken. I rebuilt the entire inside, but they didn't want to redo the artwork on the outside, so I fixed all the holes and painted it in a semi-gloss black. This was about 2 months ago.

They needed some warranty work done, so I went to pick it up from the commercial location where it was, and found they had covered one complete side of the game in corkboard and were using it as a bulletin board, as it was facing the customer waiting area...:confused::rolleyes:

I could post my pic of the CC Moppet. But no pic of me standing next to it though.

Hehe. I glad you spoke up before someone else brought that up. :D

That was my first thought when I read the OP.

I could always enter my Space War conversion.

I have one that I'm not sure how I'd classify... it's in perfect condition but weird. A Ms. Pac Man repro cabinet with one side Ms. Pac Man sideart, one side Galaga side art, Ms. Pac Man kick art and marquee, Galaga bezel and control panel. I had it custom made a few years back when I was an arcade noob by the guys that I presume make the multiboards and it came with a board that only plays Ms. Pac Man, Galaga (Gallag ROM) and Frogger, all bootleg ROMs, title "Mini Game Center". Same layout as the 48/60 in 1s but with a different, slightly less obnoxious song. It seemed pretty awesome at the time but I'm wondering now if it was the right choice, one thing is for sure though it's certainly unique :D

I wouldn't say that was ugly... Maybe eclectic? :D

time to make a trophy

I think we need to construct an ugly trophy that can be awarded.

If I knew the first thing about welding I would try this. I have old pinballs coin doors, buttons, harnesses, and assorted junk.

Anyone up for this challenge?
