I'm pulling together a jamma fighter cab and was thinking about a multi-board. I just saw this board listed in Nixs's great FS post. There's not a lot of info on it on the web, and I didn't see it listed on Nixs's site.

I've seen several of the reviews here and on Youtube mentioning that other multi-fighter boards have framerate and sound issues with some of the newer games.

So has anyone tried this board yet?: http://www.aliexpress.com/product-g...-PCB-arcade-machine-game-pcb-wholesalers.html

I'd like to see some reviews as well. My brother-in-law is looking for something that does street fighters, neo and other classics. The redbox seems to be discontinued so the other option would be a p4 system.

The game list is in that link. Nixs sells them now.

Not to hinder any of Nixs' sales, but it looks to be just another Blue Elf 2 quality board where half the games are not worth it and most likely there are some that don't work or have issues. Who's going to be the first to buy one of these and shoot a video? :)

IMO, MAME is a much better option via MALA or Hyperspin. That's pretty much what these overseas multicarts or drives are but very bad quality (I tried the Blue Elf 2 and couldn't stand it). I guess you're paying more for convenience factor.

Though, with a bit of work and assuming you have a decent PC, you could just set up MAME components (VGA-CGA, controls, audio amp, JAMMA connector, etc.) so you can plug and play directly to your JAMMA cab. Here's progress on my current board that Prairied1ll0 is helping me put together:

Here's a thread I did about setting up a VGA-CGA card with a video demo of it running in my SFII.

I just ordered five an none of them work...All I can get from four is a grey screen. The other kinda work but has video issues.

I picked one of these up from Aliexpress. The list of "all" games that appears on first boot seems to only have 294 games. I can't get into the menu yet as I haven't wired a setup button (perhaps additional games can be enabled), but I can't imagine there are two different versions of the Transformers 2011 board floating around. I emailed the seller in the mean time.

chameleons, these aren't true jamma. You probably don't have the jamma pinout setup properly, but so far they appear to be wired the same as the Blue Elf carts.

The seller at Aliexpress said the Transformers cart used to have 402 games. People complained about game speed & sound issues, and slow loading time. 102 games were removed, and the Transformers cart now sells as a 300-in-1. My cart showing only 294 games must have some temporarily disabled and can be re-enabled in the menu.
