Anyone tried the flat Nintendo molding from mikesarcade??

Have not tested that... But I would imagine pretty good...?

I just don't think dye would stick at all...?

The dye douldn't stick to the surface,it would penetrate into the plastic so it will either turn grey or not work at all but I think it will do something. It will probably take a few dips to get it to full black. I have dyed harder white plastics various colors in the past with excellent results so this being a softer plastic shouldn't be an issue.

I got the 9 16ths FLAT Nintendo T Molding from Mikes.
It was great!
But there was one problem.
My CP T molding is a DIFFERENT size than the rest of my cab. So the only place that the 9 16th fit was on the CP. The rest of my cab needs different WIDER T molding.
Any idea what size I would need??

The only other molding for Nintys is the 5/8 wide stuff.
Is the slot on your cab offset or in the center?

I will have to check.
I know it is a bit wider than the 9 16ths that I got. But it really doesn't matter because I would have had to replace my Control Panel T Molding anyway and the 9 16th fits it perfectly.

I think there are two types of DK cabs and they require different T Molding. Since mine was parted together, my CP is one type, and the cab is another.

I'm being told that all the wood Nintendo CP's used 15mm T-molding. So, if and when I start offering offset molding I'll need to include 2 feet of 15mm molding for the control panel.

I think it's aight. It has this line down the center of it that's noticeable upon closer inspection. It's not driving me crazy but I would be the only one that knows that it's there. It laid down flat and stayed that way with no raising. The chomping quarters stuff is the best by far and I will use it on my personal cabs ,but for the cabs that I flip I will use the other stuff.
