Call me crazy, or immature, but I'm still in to Pokemon.

Anyone else still play? I'm progressing through Diamond for the first time (first one I've played since Fire Red and Leaf Green... which were the first I played since the originals)

Or anyone still have some stuff, but not in to it anymore?

I recently got a hold of some pokemon cards. I started playing with these things when they were brand new on the market, but I got rid of them a long time ago. I want to get more, and start trading with people. Nostalgic for me, I guess.
Like I need another hobby.

anyway, just figured I'd see if anyone else was in to it.

Got any cards to get rid of or trade? let me know. I'm also looking for the special carts that are generally given to retailers as demos, or to hand out special pokemon.

I haven't played it since Red and Blue :p Decent enough game, it just doesn't have that big of a draw for me.

I don't but my 7 yr old son does. We've bought him tons of cards.

Yeah, I play the new games occasionally, but I mainly play the classics... have a working Snap Station set up in the arcade ;) To be honest a good deal of swag in the arcade is retro Pokemon stuff (though it's only a fraction compared to my other Nintendo junk).

I have a lot of respect for the game, but I don't play it anymore. Too many other games I need to play. I passed on a Snap Station for sub $100, I wish I knew what it was at the time I had no idea. Oh well.

oh, you guys and your Snap stations... I need one of those.

And for under $100? man, that would have been sweet.

Glad I'm not too alone.

I agree, the original stuff is way better than the new stuff, for sure.

Haven't played it for a few months. Don't expect many responses to this topic, as most of the people here where in there 20's and 30's when Pokemon Red came out. I was 8. I got a blue game boy color for my birthday that year, and got Red Version with the birthday money my grandfather gave me.
