Anyone Still Doing G07 & K49xx Two For One Repairs?

Anyone still doing G07 & K49xx Two For One (2 for 1) repairs?

I have two full boxes of these chassis, including a couple of K48xx, that need to be repaired and used.

Anyone that does 2 for 1 repairs is an idiot, concerning the g07 (imo).

I install $70+ worth of parts into every g07.

So if I am fortunate enough to buy a dead chassis for $35 shipped and its not effed up enough that I can fix it. After the cost of the heavy duty shipping boxes and anti-static bubble wrap (and shipping of $22), I clear less than $20 for 5 hours work and my expertise.

Now if someone wants a sub-standard rebuild (imo) with a flyback and cap kit only , I could possibly see a 2 for 1, though I still doubt it.

+1 Nobody likes working for less then minimum wage.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't sold or traded-in chassis, for repair, in many, many years, so I was unsure if the 2-for-1 was still practiced. I do still repair K6100 and the cost of a full, high quality rebuild is pricey, so I understand.

As it stands, I still have lots of chassis, need some repaired (for my games), but have little time these days. What would you two recommend? Thank you for your thoughts.

Back around 2009 I used to trade 3 for 1 with chris25810.

3 for 1 for flyback and cap kit and reasonable repairs to get working. 4 for 1 the way I rebuild them.

I'm 60 and don't need anymore chassis then what I already have. Plus like Tron Guy said with what it costs for the parts, it's not worth the time to do 2 for 1, 3 for 1 or whatever. There is no longer any profit left in repairing them for selling.

I don't know what some charge. However I don't think you can charge much more than what I charge plus parts and the return shipping with insurance.

P.S. Soon there will be only a few people left repairing these old relics. Oh and on the Wells Gardner chassis, don't call Wells Gardner. Because ever since John retired there is nobody and I repeat nobody that knows anything about the analog chassis.
