Anyone sell a SilkScreen Ms Pacman/Galaga 20th Reunion Marquee?

I have the cheap graphic on my Ms Pacman/Galaga 20th marquee! I can see what appears to be every dot of the low grade printer. I would like to find someone to make me one using silkscreen method. Any idea where I might start to look?

Here is a close up as to what I mean.....It looks way worse in person.

I'm pretty sure that's the factory part. They cut every corner possible on those things.

Namco was pumping these out as quickly and cheaply as possible. Sadly I don't think there would be nearly enough interest to warrant a silkscreen reproduction, especially with the cost of screening 8 (!!!) colors.

I can make a solvent inkjet reproduction on reverse of glass or acrylic. It's an incredibly high quality print process that is indistinguishable from screened art.

I'd love to help. [email protected]

That prototype Ms Pac-Man set on your website looks so badass! I've already got the graphics for the Ms Pac I'm restoring but the next one I think I'm going to have to go with the prototype. http://www.pacificarcades.com/store/p55/Ms._Pac-Man_"Prototype"_Cabinet_Set.html

I spoke with Jr. Pac and I am having him make me a new one. Can't wait to get it installed! I will post pics when I get it installed.

This would be great.

It's one of the things I hate about this anniversary addition. The marque is awful. lol

So are the generic poorly designed bezel graphics. I might have a custom one made that actually covers the bezel instead of two simple stickers! Dont get me started on the Ms Pacman sucky side art! Other than that its great:) LOL

Agreed.

They really went cheap on the cab art.

The game and soft switch features are cool though. maybe some day I'll pick one up.

I know nothing......educate me. lol smd?

smd= surface mount device.
The pcb just has pads and the contacts for the devices just sit on the pads and are soldered in place. The devices don't have pins on them and the boards don't have through holes. They are typically very tiny.
I have a hot air station for smt work.

Thx for the explanation.

Well it's been a year and I'm still not been able to find someone to make me a silk screen or quality of that Marquee. I even have some bezel art designed professionally. To be printed on glass to replace the terrible graphics that came from the factory. Does anyone know someone?

Interested as well now that I have one.... lol

Pull the monitor and throw the rest in the trash where it belongs.

It's a great machine.

Don's have room for all 3 ms pac, pac man and galaga in the house so this serves the propose. The game play is original code as even TG recognizes these machines for submitted scores. Each game has fast/slow settings. So you really get 6 games plus HSS on an officially licensed board. Love the larger CRT. I dont know why peeps hate on them.

Maybe someday I'll put a ms pac leaf joystick and buttons.... but for now I have more pressing projects in the garage...
