The broken Hyperball by the Apollo 13 sold, the Prospector pin by where 11strings played Saturday night, and I think it was Back to the Future or Twilight Zone that sold as well. As for arcades, I didn't see any go.
It just had a really, really weak shot. Like shooting the balls almost half way up the playfield. I've never opened one up, so no idea what it's like, but it didn't work all weekend. The other one that was there was always being played, especially by me and my buddy (100+ games on it from Friday PM on). Someone broke the Z-Bomb button out on Saturday morning and by Sunday afternoon it was sticking to the left (pointed at "A") sometimes. I would love to hear that "unholy racket" coming from my garage.Curious. Was the Hyperball working at any point? Mods (steve) helped me get mine back working finally last year. They can be troublesome and with the beating and vibration, I can't imagine what a couple of days of constant play would do at this age. Still love my game. Only problem is the unholy racket it makes when playing.![]()
Blasteroids could have been dumped while still in Santa Clara, but I figured that I had room and do like the game, future trade bait... it ended up staying at Taylors since the last two wouldn't fit on the truck and trailer, had to pick the two that were 86'ed off the island. It could have been sold if I could have gotten it working, but no spare chassis and no time to screw with it.Karl's Blasteroids sparked two prospective buyers. Of course, the monitor took a crap before a deal could be finalized so he ended up taking it back to WA.
I know the Black Hole pinball was sold. Karl hauled that up to Vacaville for someone.
