Got this in an email promotion from welink (among other things):

60 in 1 Board -- USD58per one
New Small 60 in 1 Board -- USD63per one

I'm not sure there is a size difference. I looked on their website, and the thumbnail image for it looks just like the regular one, but without the black plastic cover.

Unfortunately, if you "click on the image for more info", you get a "page not found" error...

58 bucks for a 60 in 1 is dirt cheap. Can you post a link?

it's only $58 if you walk in and buy it - in Hong Kong! They ship pretty fast (Air Express) but it costs about $22 for one board to ship, so you end up paying $80 for one board. Nixs sells the same board for $75...

That's the A board. Ask him about the B board, which is the one talked about above...

Oh. I thought he had mentioned in a thread that he stopped selling the B board because he had too many problems with them.

Maybe so. I don't read all those For Sale threads when I don't feel like buying anything...

i might carry a run of them just see how good they are
just depends on the price,i would like to sell them for around 90.00 and the 60a's for 110.00
the price of a's have gone up 5.00
i do believe this is a version b

I've heard the big issue with the 60-1 was the sound in a lot of games, either being inaccurate or of overall poor quality, hopefully they've addressed that problem because otherwise I hear they're awesome boards.

Nope. And there are only a couple games that are "bad" - Gyruss being the big one (try pumping the stereo out on a mono line). Most you'd never notice unless you had an original sitting next to it for comparison...

Bullshit. Couple = 2. So you are saying that there are only 2 games on that board that suck ass?

Everybody knows at least these 3 things about the 60 in 1 boards.

1) They are cheap
2) The game selection isn't ideal
3) The sound is screwed up on a few games

Nothing to see here or start an argument about.

Yep. Suck Ass as far as sound goes. If you are the type of anal-retentive person who examines every single pixel and pulls out your oscilloscope to see if every note is pitch-perfect, then you might have a different opinion.

Some people claim that one the DK pitches is missing, and maybe it is, but if you don't have one and haven't played one in 5+ years, you'll most likely never notice).

And some claim Bombjack sounds bad, but as I have never seen a dedicated Bombjack, I never noticed and it sounds fine to me.

Gyruss is the only really bad one, as far as I'm concerned. Even if you have never heard an original Gyruss, you can hear the distortion for the bad audio sampling...

That's a pretty good summary. I would add that gameplay is screwed up on several titles as well.
I'm not trying to start an argument.... I just don't like to see people spreading the misconception that only a "couple" games on this board are bad. I will admit that most of the common games play fairly well.

Which ones have bad gameplay? the only ones I have problems playing are the ones that require specific controls for ideal play (trackball, spinner, 8-way, etc)
