Anyone see this over in the land of Facebook about Bob Cunningham?

I have yet to deal with Bob, so I can't offer anything.

Except for +1 to your post count.
I did think about responding because everything I have HEARD has been positive.
But without specific experience, I'd just be repeating what I heard, not adding value.

Maybe I should have included that in the first post?

Haven't personally dealt with Bob, but 2 local collector buddies have used him without issue. 1.5 hand (not quite firsthand, not quite secondhand) experience if you will.

I had never heard the guy's name before this spectacle started, but I did see some (sadly) reasonable speculation that those posts were from somebody trying to scare off potential competing buyers from the current sale.

Idk what you should or should not have included, I was just being silly.

I have purchased from Bob, it was a smooth transaction, he was helpful with delivery. He's been sucessful in the industry for many years. When i checked on him before buying my machine I heard only good things.

Starting yesterday, he's starts selling off a bunch of NIB Bronze age and other stuff from the time travel Warehouse. He bought a bunch of it two weeks back, we all know details. The sale yesterday is a success, He's making $$$$, everybody is patting him on the back. He's the shit.

So last night a fake account appears and says he's a crook, etc. Says dont trust him, etc. Given the timing and the fake account I'd say this is sour grapes.

I won't be paying any attention to it.

Oh I knew that name was familiar. He was doing arcade and pinball moving for folks for years, right? Then he kind of disappeared and I didn't hear anything about him for a while.

I've purchased about a dozen games from Bob in the past and have never been ripped off. I will say there have been some games where his level of "great condition" was not equal to mine. No harm, no foul. I would do business with him again.

I'd say there are a LOT of sellers whose idea of 'great condition' don't meet mine in this hobby. That's one of the first things I learned.

This isn't directed at either of you, as it sounds like you both are still happy, but this is an important lesson for newcomers to learn. Everyone defines great condition differently, and the camera always hides things (whether intentional or not from the seller). I know "cash on the glass", as the pinheads say, is not always feasible, especially with things like the warehouse find Bob has had, but set realistic expectations if you cannot see it in person first.
