Just thought I'd throw this out there. I picked up a pretty rough Robotron cabinet that I'd like to restore and restencil as a Joust. I already have a Robotron and I have all the parts to build a Joust, so seems logical.

Now, the front panel will be replaced, no question and I've done that before. Also, I'll cut the bottom couple of inches off, up to the bottom panel, and replace those with new plywood, using biscuits. I absolutely do not want to use hardener and filler on the top, and it's waterlogged. I'd rather replace the panel than mess with that.

I know the top has rabbeted edges that fit into a dado in the side panels, so I'll need to cut it up the middle and pick it out, replace the blocking. Anything else I'm missing? Any tips?
