Hi All. Weird question I know, but I just saw someone's list of arcades in CA from before the 90s and wondered if anyone ever came across this place. Main Street Arcade and Ice Cream Huntington Beach. Their Stained Glass sign was in the storage where I picked up all my cabs. Now it's in my house. It looked cool and I thought if these games were going to kick off this hobby of mine, it'd be nice to have them all lit up under the same sign.

Just wondering if any SoCal people have any memories of this place. Would be nice to see a pic or hear a story about it if anyone has one. I have no idea where it would have been, just Main Street and Huntington Beach.

Have a good one!

I frequented this place as a kid. True to its name, it sold ice cream and was jam packed with arcade games. It was bracketed by an old swimsuit store, had apartments above it and was across from an old bar named Perq's, as I recall.

Played my first Dragon's Lair at the Main St Arcade. I couldn't even begin to estimate how much time and money I spent there.

Place was run by a dude named Rick. I've heard many stories about rampant cocaine dealing going on in the backroom, to which I was totally oblivious as a 10 year old.

That sign....would you consider selling it?

I never went there, but that sign - pure gold!

It sounds like it was a great place.
