I recently picked up a couple Scramble control panels from an operator. They both had the same joysticks that I don't recognize. They look factory. I also happen to have an NOS one in my box of unknown parts. They seem very similiar to the "skinny" Wico. None of them had sticks. Anyone know what sticks these use? Here's a few pictures...the disassembled one is my NOS one.
It's pictures #3, 4, and 5.

Not the grommet....it doesn't have an inner metal sleeve, but two metal "caps" the set on the outside of each end.

Anyone recognize the grommet to the right in picture #1...it's beside of a "skinny" Wico grommet.

How about picture #2. I've got a handful of these Wico kits. These are also the "skinny" Wico stick, but note that length.....it's over 4 3/4th inches long. What uses a skinny Wico that long?

I would have uploaded these pictures into the body of the thread, but I kept getting an internal server error:confused:

Thanks!
Edward

2 things.
1. For the first few questions, I wonder if that is an earlier version of the Wico type sticks that use the screw on leaf switch. I've always wondered if the screw on leaf switch Wico sticks were actually even made by Wico. From my limited experience, they are always on games from overseas manufacturers. They don't have Wico stamped on them like the sticks with the molded leaf switch holder.

2. The long skinny sticks were used in games like Frogger. Other Sega games of that time frame used them as well.

Wico switched to the molded leaf switch holders most likely to save costs. The screw on version is also a Wico, never seen one in red though... Cool.
Scramble used the longer style joystick like Frogger and some others. That's a crazy looking grommet though, are those just standoffs in the mounting holes?
