Yeah, a Skeeball...I want one. Yes, I'm serious. Does anyone have one, if so chime in please and help answer?

What kind of $ do they tend to go for? Your average unit, I've seen some newer ones that have fancy stuff added to em, I'm fine with your older style one with just a plain LED or bulb scoreboard.

I'd have to take a 10'/13' unit apart to put it in my basement. Do they come apart easily?
I'd happily take a smaller unit that I've seen in some places. Figuring they're around 6-8'.

a lot of people here have them, theres a couple threads I remember seeing. I also think there cheap at auctions cause no one has the room?

i was just looking at a smaller Skee Ball unit (a "Skee Ball Too!") that a local arcade was selling for around $200 working. the ramp section and scoring section looked like they split and were each approximately 7' and 3' respectively. the scoring backbox was just about 6' high. i believe the width was around 3' but i don't recall if i did a rough measurement or if i was just guessing.

and yeah, i didn't buy it because i just don't have the room. if it's still available next year and i somehow find the space i'll definitely be picking it up.

I am definitely planning to pick up a skee-ball machine (or two) this year. I recently missed an auction in Wisconsin because of the weather. They apparently went for something like $100 each. I can't believe I missed out on them at that price!! I would love a pair of them in the back of one of my shops. I guess that I have to wait for the next auction.

I am going to try to pick up a 'full-size' versions. I played a smaller unit at a local arcade and it wasn't the same. I guess I am lucky to have the space for it. It also doesn't hurt that my girlfriend LOVES Skee-Ball. No argument there. :)

i don't have one but my in-laws have a full length one. digital score but the older 70s and 80s style skeeball. i don't pay attention to prices on them, but they don't generally go quick due to the space concern. however, moving them isn't too bad. the full length ones split at the end of the ramp where it connects to the back unit, so it moves as two pieces.

I have one of the "classic" skeeball machines (model S I believe). It's been so frustrating because I haven't been able to figure out why the game will not count score. Not sure if it's a CPU failure, but that's what I'm leaning towards.

I have a 'Smart Ball' I picked up locally for $100. The game is a huge hit at parties and with a little creativity you can have yourself some pretty interesting drinking games with the ticket dispenser.

Pricing is all over the place on these things. If your patient you should be able to grab one in the free - $200 range

If I could score one for $100 I'd call out of work that day and drive to WI.

Local guy had 2 of them on Ebay. The first one sold for $102 (starting bidding price $100)..I missed it and was PISSED!

I didn't know he had 2 until he listed the second one about a week later...I got it for $105. It was in great shape..i haven't done anything to it except play it

Of course it help in the ebay auction he spelled it 'Ski ball' instead of Skee ball...he actually did that twice =).

I bought an Ice Ball for $250 with the same spelling about 3 years ago. I 'stored' it at work waiting to close on a house. The house fell through and I had to move the game as I had no place to put it and my boss wanted it out. A couple years later I bought a different house and went on the search again

There was a guy on RGP about 6 month ago selling 3 Smart Balls for $200 or $100 a piece (from memory...didn't actually look it up)

They are out there..if ya look hard enough you can trip over one at the right price

Ugh... Don't remind me. ;) I literally had NO idea they would go for so little. I am still kicking myself for missing that one...

Skeeballs have been big up in the north east lately. I was trying to get a couple from a guy up there I deal with and we used to pay around $500-$800. But now they are going for $1200-$1400. This is the retail side though.

I have a 10 foot one, the ramp comes apart from the scoring part. I wired a small credit button under the front so all the kids have to do is push a button.

I passed on full skeeballs machines going for $100, another for $250 and one for $150. Does that help?
