So is anyone playing super mario 3d land? I have it but have not had tome to get to it.

I played the first level - seems good. I'm saving the rest for my 9 hour trip tomorrow (and then back again this weekend).

Haven't picked it up yet. Next time I open up my 3DS or DS it'll be for Prof. Layton and the Last Specter

I played a couple levels on my buddy's 3ds, it reminds me a lot of Super Mario 64 in the look and feel. I didn't notice the 3d though.

I had a 3ds but traded it, I think the screens are a little weak along with the battery life. The new game didn't make me think about trading in my DS.

It's an amazing game if you're willing to endure the first half. It's laughably easy for the first 8 worlds but after that it opens a second half that is THE most brutal Mario platforming I've ever played and a real blast. This is the game that I feel justifies the existence of 3D gaming (it REALLY helps time jumps and feel the depth, I do terrible now without 3D turned on) and makes me un-regret buying a 3DS.

My wife played a few worlds in the car (with the 3D off, obviously), and she loves it. I have yet to get a turn on it though LOL

It's really good. I can't stress really enough. I've dabbled with Galaxy and New SMBs but this has hooked me. Levels are just a hair short but it maybe just enough to rest your eyes. I judge all level design against SMW levels which I thought were among the high point of the classic Mario games.

I'm hooked to collect all 3 star coins per level. I have only cheated once for 3-4 to look it up on a guide. I was close to finding it but ended up thinking the wrong solution.

I'm in world 6 but have not played in 2 days.

I'll say this... When you get a white racoon suit box, you know you are sucking!
