Was looking at an Ebay Smash TV auction and I live in Florida.
The guy does not want to ship the game, so I was asking any fellow klovers if they by chance happen to live in Nebraska, specifically Omaha, to see if they can pick up the game so that I can ship it to me.
Possibly stop by to see the condition of the cabinet too.
I would be in debt to anyone that could help me out around that area.
Here's the auction link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200527117948&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

You might use NAVL North American Van Lines. They will move the game without the seller prepping it. So the seller only has to be there for pickup and not do anything else. Search for NAVL on here and you will get all the info you need about who to call and what to expect for prices, etc.

what do they usually run if you happen to know?

I have never used them, but my guess based on what has been posted in the past would be $350-$400 for such a substantial game from Nebraska to Florida. I would recommend calling them to get a quote.

Or does anyone happen to have any other suggestions?

If you can get someone to take it to the nearest Forward Air terminal, you might be able to do it for more like $200-$250, maybe a little less. But that will require someone picking it up and taking it to the terminal wherever it is as well as you going to wherever the terminal near you is.

All that and the monitor doesn't work and who knows what else... That aside, what is in the pics looks nice.

Ya I know.
Going on what the cabinet looks like.
I actually have all of the internals, was just looking to get a better looking cabinet.

Don't let me discourage you. Maybe one of the NE guys can help out on that side.

I think Omaha has a Forward Air Terminal so would just be a matter of
finding someone who would be willing to help you out for the least
amount of $$. There are quite a few good KLOV members from the
Omaha area that may step up and offer up some advice or help, good
luck.

Shipping companies don't like our area very much, at least with quotes, lol. In the recent month or two, the shipping quotes I got for Green Bay to Lincoln, mostly ranged from $300-$800 depending on what was involved. Dock, no dock, business, residential, ect.... Whatever game you have shipped, will cost you a good chunk no matter what. Any company that has quotes cheaper(unless it's a business that has discounted rates), I would not trust. Just personal experience there. Decide how much you're willing to pay for, and remember it's almost a 300lb game.

If it can get here, I can be here for the company to wrap it and load it, I just don't have the materials handy to get it ready for shipping.

I was just in Omaha yesterday, but I don't live there. No way, would I drop $400 on a non-working game. Would have to be really rare for that to happen. I wouldn't spend that much on my grail (Super Pac upright) if it was non-working to say nothing of shipping it.
