Anyone on here get the Black Widow from The Station on EBAY

I noticed that most of the listings seemed like they don't actually have the item "on hand" as well. The fact that there did not appear to be any way to contact them (via phone) or an address in the listings was also a red flag, particularly since they are trying to give off the impression that they are a legitimate business. It also hurts for them to act like they have a website called "thestationonline.com" or something like that, and instead of having a real website, you just go to their "Ebay store" which is a bunch of overpriced incomplete listings.

I am located in North Alabama, and if they DO have a lot of equipment, I would feel a lot more comfortable about dealing with them if they had better (or more complete) info in their listings. I just ASSUMED that they were not worth the trouble...

Star Castle was complete, minor vertical issue. Original dedicated cabinet.
Haunted Castle in a Dragon's Lair cabinet with side art for Haunted Castle. Works.
Black Widow, board works, monitor had a random accident (not The Station's fault).

Overall, I can say that at first we LEFT and then got a call to come back and we bought all three games.

I'm not going to reveal prices on these, but all I have to say is the same thing I've said before. If you see someone asking $1000 with a BEST OFFER and you decide not to even make an offer, that's your loss for thinking they may not take the offer. I still don't get why people overlook best offers on ebay thinking the seller is really asking $1000 when the option is there.

There is a LOT of stuff there, but a lot of empty cabinets, parts, and what have you, typical warehouse stuff. Either way, after making it back with a minor tornado scare, I was pleased with what we ended up with for the prices we paid.

Nice! And whatever you paid for everything,you can make a decent bit of it back by just selling the Haunted Castle board if you so wished.Those aren't seen all too often and can fetch good coin.

I'm like others on here - if someone bas $1000/OBO on a machine I would offer $250 at most, I'm not going to bother. There is some % that I'm not going to bother and 25% would be below that amount.

I would not buy from them off ebay again, but going in person and seeing the game and being able to take it then would be different, I think I would do that.

I think it's pretty interesting that it's been right at 3 years ago when they raped me on my purchase and they had maybe 75 ebay transactions up then. Someone here said that they only had about 150 now so I'm guessing something went wrong with their Ebay business model because I'd expect a far higher number.

Of course, if their Ebay feedback percentage is only 90% as someone else said then maybe they're in Ebay jail for having too low a number? Isn't that what happens when your feedback drops too low?
