Anyone need a decent dedicated sega choplifter cabinet?

Game was converted to MK, but the sides are decent and the cabinet is in good shape..

I know someone was looking for a pitfall II cabinet. This not the right cabinet, but its pretty close..

If no one wants it to restore it as a sega, I am going to fix it up as a MK + MK2 and pas it along. Currently the game plays blind.

I am wondering if this could have been a dedicated golden axe? Monitor bezel is golden axe. Cabinet plate says sega usa San jose. the painted rear metal plate it has a 2 letter code that I think says GC...

Just a bit curious as I don't remember ever seeing a dedicated golden axe.

I believe there was a 25 in. Monitor dedicated golden axe.

I saw a empty cabinet at an auction that the guy was trying to

sell as a rare piece but no one even bid on it.

A nearby arcade in Pa had one for many years that I played.

Fun game!

there is a sequel 4 player game Golden Axe: The Revenge Of Death Adder
thats pretty rare in its dedicated cabinet. Pretty sure there is no dedicated golden axe.

Flyers refer to that cabinet as a "Universal Cabinet" so GC could stand for "Generic Cabinet" or something to that extent...or Gorlin's Choplifter ;)

Bringing back an old thread... The guy I sold this game to called me and wanted to know if I was interested in it.

I know someone asked me about it not too long ago. If you still need it let me know.

Update: sold..

I've always wanted to make multi System 16 cab with Alien Syndrome, Golden Axe, Shinobi, Altered Beast, this cab would be perfect for that, but unfortunately you are on the other side of the country. But its for the best because I'm broke anyway. GLWTS!
