Yeah it is sweet looking. I was just at an auction in the area and had a few arcade and pinball on it. All went for crazy money. A sorcerer pinball went for $675 had a wore out and bubbled up play field. Looked like someone had clear coated it with varnish poorly. All the rubber was shot in it and it needed work bad. Some woman that didn't have a clue about it won the bid for her kid.

I just came back from this auction, actually.

The Comet went for about $820, I believe. It did have some issues, including the fact the kickout mechanism on the right side would not kick the ball back on the playfield. That's what one of the sellers told me, anyway. The owner had put a business card over the hole so the ball wouldn't get stuck down there.

The Sky Jump, which actually didn't look that bad to me (though I have no experience with EMs) went for just under $800 if I remember right. I wish I had taken some notes but I was really only interested in the Comet and possibly the Race/Hard Drivin' games, which went for about $500 apiece. The Ms. Pac in a Pac-Man cab (with Ms. Pac marquee), scuffed art and no bezel went for $550.

Just thought I'd throw a report out there. Don't know if anyone else from the board was there or not, but there were about 50 guys I had never seen before scoping out machines. I don't think any went to local bidders.

I was looking for steals. I came home empty-handed :)
