anyone near buffalo, ny know the arcade guy at cheektowaga, ny flea market

Went to the flea market today and was a guy there that had some mighty crappy games, most of all the games had hand drawn marquees and there was a multicade there that didnt even have real arcade buttons and all his multicades had lcd's in them. the cabinets just plain suck, only thing i saw that was original was a mini sega turbo and a old wood grain pacman with a messed up montior he wanted 800$ for and a street fighter one for 500$ all and roadblasters didnt have a price but everything else was horrribley done. i dont know if you know him but guy seemed like a total d-bagg

I go to that flea market a few times a year. I talked to him once. You're right, all that stuff is really crappy junk (well, it is a flea market after all). But I got the same vibe from him too (d-bag). He did have a big box of marquees I looked at and they were full of crap. But he also had about 20 or so lined up along the top of his "stand" that were mostly classics. I asked him how much for those & he said they're not for sale. I proceeded to walk away. He also lisst his crap on CL every now & then, for way too much.

The super flea is only good for buying socks. That is unless you like junk stereo systems or bootleg name brand clothing.

The last time I was there I was actually asked to leave. I had a ton of variant figures I wanted to try and sell to one of the vendors. They wanted to pay $5 for a figure they were selling for $100. There was actually a pretty big crowd at that particular stand and they saw what I had. They started asking what I wanted for figures. I looked at that vendors prices and cut them in half. I had sold about $500 worth of figures right in front of his stand before I was asked to leave. Then the group of people followed me to the parking lot and bought the rest of them. Since then I really haven't been back there.

My buddy does that all the time. He'll go there to sell stuff for about half what the jerks in the stands are selling them for. It's a lot of fun.
