I have an extra 4 player Konami cabinet and was thinking about adding it to my arcade. I'm not into any of the 4 player games enough to have it take up the room in my arcade for a single game. But maybe if I could have a bunch...... Anyone come up with a switcher for this? I know that I could go MAME or mauually plug/unplug. Any other options?

I looked at the same thing for a TMNT cabinet that I have. I ultimately figured out that a mame setup would be far superior to a jamma switching setup and cost a heck of a lot less.

All the common 4 player titles are emulated basically perfectly.

Plus a 4 player cabinet is a great example of how to make a wonderful mame cabinet with a limited game list. Don't install anything other than the 4 player titles.

Agreed mameing it might be your best bet, but i think clay still sells "multijamma" which is great for up to 8 boards, and i think a mike on here sells a two way switcher thats supposed to be good

I know that this is an old thread but can anyone give any updates? did you just go with the MAME 4 player games? or a switch? I'd love to see pics of the set up, I'm doing a lot of thinking in this new hobby.

thanks
