They have auctions once a year but that's about all I can tell you Ben..
Let me tell you something about these people. If you're thinking about buying a game from them, don't! Well, first of all, they never want to sell anything at all, and even if they do I would just simply not do it. I've had multiple bad experiences with these guys before I finally wised up and walked away for good (about 10 years ago,and yes, the same people run it now).
I'm not the only one in the Winona area who thinks these guys suck. They have a bad rep, do NOT waste your time!
If you decide to deal with them anyway, I wish you luck. If they fuck you over, I'm telling you in advance "I told you so".
Yikes... seriously thanks for the heads up. I'll call the guy tomorrow to see what he says but I'm definitely keeping up my guard. Not worth any headaches. Thanks!
When I lived in Winona in the mid-late 1980s I don't think I saw a single arcade game anywhere.
A lot of games were probably pulled by the late 80s for sure. Pre-1984 there were games everywhere in Winona. The roller rink, half of the gas stations, all of the pizza places - Godfathers, Shakeys, Rocky Rococco's, Pizza Hut, even Happy Chef had a Space Fury in the lobby. The movie theater always had a least 4 games in the lobby.
Did Winona ever have a dedicated arcade?
They did, but it was in the early 90's, in the Winona Mall. It wasn't too bad, they actually had a Ms. Pac and a Gorf cabaret that I remember. Closed up around 95 I believe. Other than that, the biggest number of games in one spot was the roller rink, which had about a dozen games lined up on a back wall.
