Hello all,
I'm almost 100% complete with my PLAYCHOICE 10 restoration. It was a badly butchered Punch Out cabinet that was just descimated and I've totally restored it.
There's 1 piece I can't seem to find, as a matter of fact I can't seem to find anyone who even knows what it is!

I've attached a pic of how it appears in the Punch Out to PC10 conversion manuel.

Anyone have idea what it is and what purpose it serves? it's kinda driving me nuts...and I think that's starting to roll down hill to the people I keep asking about it ;^)

I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, ERIC

It's a piece of cardboard that goes around the monitor.

Did you get that Punch-Out that was $50 in CT? I wanted that! :)

No I actually got it as part of a trade with a partly working Pole Position 2 for a SEGA Virtua Fighter that wouldn't fit down my basement stairs! ;^)

I did get it in CT though. East Windsor to be exact.

Are you sure about that? The manual shows that "black cardboard" piece already being on the machine before the JM Bezel is applied and the conversion kit is listed as only containing one.

Not to mention the pic shows the Bezel looking nothing like the black cardboard piece that came attached to the monitor. Plus, the Punch Out cabs came with that black cardboard piece on both monitors so I don't know why they'd have you put a second one over just the bottom.

Any ideas?
Thanks, ERIC

Isn't it an anti-glare bezel? In Punchout you get one huge bezel with a bend, in PC-10, you get a 2 piece bezel.

I don't know. That's what I'm trying to find out.
I'm hoping someone with a PC10 or a Punch Out that was converted into a PC10 would read this and be able to let me know.
If they took upon them selfs to take a picture that would also be greatly appreciated...hint,hint...

It's the last piece I'll need.

Thanks for the info.

Well, my Punch-Out has the huge tinted bezel with the cardboard overlays underneath. That's it.

I assumed the PC-10s were the same. But, I guess I am not sure!
