Soldering project kits ot hobby kits? I remember in High School when I took Electricity class we were able to order project kits to solder. Would like to find a place that sells kits to practice my soldering skills before trying it out on a PCB. Plus I think these would be fun projects to do with my son. I would try the local Radio Shack but they have went down hill over the years and dont sell anything good anymore.

mcmelectronics had some too....

Excellent!!. Thanks guys. That kit on Amazon would be a great starter kit for my son. And Ramseys and Electronickits has a ton of stuff to buy on there. Tried Ebay and couldn't find anything on there. Funny though. Seems this stuff was a lot cheaper back when I was in High School 20 years ago. :D

Too much good stuff to choose from. Kinda bummed I didn't think about buying this stuff a few weeks earlier. Would have loved to get some of this for my son for Christmas. Guess I'll get them for his B-day. One kit I didn't see(Probably just overlooked it) was the fish caller. Little device that made a clicking sound. You were suppose to put it in a baby food jar and put it under water. Claimed to attract the fish. Gave it to my grandfater years ago, never did find out if it worked or not. :D It was the freebie kit we all got in Electricity class. The second one were had to pick and buy ourselves.
