I have 3 linked, and they are 'all' giving me problems. The games boot up. If the backboards are away from the rear home position, they will move to the home position. When you start a game, the ball gate does not drop, so you cannot play. Also, the backboard does not move forward. The sensors in the baskets are not working when the game sits idle like this. This occurs on all 3 machines. I had one of them working, but just now it started doing the same thing that the others are doing. The motor control board in the rear is getting the 120V feed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Motor control boards

Super Shot Basket balls are a pain.
the motor control boards are always needing attention. The sensors are very touchy make sure that the black and white sensor timing read tape is clean.

And its not always a simple or easy fix if I remember when I worked at CEC and D&B. They got a lot of play.

If the back boards are not moving and the motors are running it has a broken plastic piece that is also a pain to replace.

Parts are available. And boards can be repaired by most Repair centers. Also the guys at Skee-Ball are very helpful. Give them a call.

Good luck ...

Peace

Hello. Coming to the group a little late. I recently acquired 2 Supershots. I got everything working except for the backboards to move during the game (they move during test mode). @WaynezWorld, can you elaborate more on the broken plastic pieces? I was scrubbing the inside under the hoop and found this in the edges (see attached)
