Anyone interested in doing some "secret shopper" stuff?

I'm thinking that I can get a small army of anal retentive players (no offense guys) such as many of us found on KLOV to help get my game rooms up to snuff.

In trade I will try to work out free movies the night you go and free tokens to play the games.

I'd like a list of issues down to the smallest thing (minus minor cosmetics) so that I can forward your comments to our game techs. Its pretty clear that some of them either are not paying attention or just dont know about some of the issues in their game rooms.

Anyone up to this or think its a good/bad idea? This will be for Cinemark and Century Theatres with in house games. I cant really do much with the info at locations where we dont own the games nor can I hook you up with free play. I know I hate it when games dont work right and I'm playing for free. Imagine what the people paying feel like!

count me in for greenback /80 sacramento

if you need more than that, I may be able to help in the area

I think it's a great idea as most games I've played on location have issues. I know how badly it sucks to drop coin on games that do not work.

If you have any locations in or around Springfield, MO, I'm willing to help.

Nothing in Springfield MO but soon to come in Springfield OR!

I'm running this past my boss to see what he thinks.

Thanks guys.

Now you tell me. I just hit up a Cinemark movie theater in Kansas City last week, and it was a 6 hour round trip so I won't be back soon. Plus I did check out the theater arcade after the movie.

It looks like there are two in WA. Neither are very close to me but I love road trips so let me know if you'd like the Washington locations checked out...

The gamerooms in the two in Washington are operated by Premier Amusements, Inc of North Richland Hills, Texas. Service is subcontracted out to local techs. I service the one in Olympia. The one in Federal Way is serviced by C&L Games.

Id be glad to help here in houston. Free movies plus a good reason to kill a couple hours playing games on a saturday night, what could go wrong???

The Century Theater in Stratford Square Mall in the Chicago suburbs is one I'd be more than willing to check out for you. It is close to me.

Great idea. Nothing worse than popping quarters into a machine and have it not work the way it should.

I'd be willing to do this in my area (Las Vegas) if needed.

I don't think we have any Century Theatres here in Virginia but we have 2 Cinemark Theatres. One in Norfolk and one in Chesapeake. I haven't been in a wile but I have gone to the Cinemark Movies 10 in Chesapeake many times in the past. Don't think I ever been to the one in Norfolk ,Cinemark 18.
Either one on your list? I could go to Cinemark Movies 10 in Chesapeake no problem. Both list an Arcade Gameroom on premises on their web site.
Do they still have Front Row Joe? :)

I can stop in the Cinemark Movies 8 here in Tallahassee again. Last time I went it was pretty vacant though (2 claw machines, a ride-on game and I think a Sports Shooting USA). Hopefully they've improved again.

There used to be an awesome 2-seater T-MEK in that location years and years ago. Bring it back!
