Anyone interested in an almost complete good condition Baby Pac
I've got a second Baby Pac that I was going to get up and running again, but I can't decide whether to finish it myself, or sell it to someone the way it is.
The Vidiot works, but will flash colors occasionally. It's not the monitor, could be a color pot issue.
I'm working on the solenoid combo and should be able to get that up and going again.
It needs an MPU. If you're reading this, then you're probably aware of the Alltek pcb for $200.
The monitor works good.
The power supply works great.
The cabinet is in good shape. The side art on both sides is complete, but is the repro artwork. I also thoroughly cleaned the cabinet.
The glass is beautiful, but the little chrome rail that holds it has rust on it.
The marquee is beautiful, but needs a new light.
The control panel is nice. Has a repro cpo on it that is cracking at the bend, and 2 small spots where a child used a purple marker on it.
The playfield would be excellent, and I'd keep it myself, if it didn't have 2 "lines" going through the right inside and outside lanes. The lines are horizontal, are about an inch apart from each other, and are actually the top layer of wood with the graphics on it peeling up. They start just under the right bumper lights, and go thru both lanes to the side of the playfield. There is also a small worn spot on the Baby between the flippers. Otherwise, the playfield is basically mint.
Also, I do not know if all the bulbs, and switches are good. The switches all look good, but many bulbs need obvious replacements.
It will need some new connectors installed, but that's always suggested on these Babys anyway.
So again, I can spend another $250-$300 to make it function 100%, or I can let someone else do it.
I don't have a price in mind quite yet, just wondering if anyone in So. Cal. might be interested.
