I have one with the fighting game in it. It worked last time I fired it up, Has locks and keys, and is big. Could use some cosmetic fixes. Needs some new formica around the top and side (ripped off on the freeway when I brought it home). I'll sell it for what I bought it for before auction fees...
$50. On HOLD Located in Long Beach, CA.

Just measured, and it it approximately 48"deep x 42"wide. It is built in 2 pieces. When unlatched, the mirror section is 26x42, and the controls section is 22x42. You could easily pack this into a pickup, and it's mostly empty, so it's not all that heavy. If someone wants it, I'll dust it off for them. I've had it for awhile, and it's dirty.

Well, if you think I'm getting ripped off selling it for $50, you are more than welcome to pay me more. I won't mind ;)

Man, if you were local, this would be in my garage already. I even jumped online and priced out renting a cargo van for a day- but it's just too expensive, and I don't know when I'd be able to make it out to CA to pick it up.

It'd be cheaper to rent a pickup for a day ;)

I hear home depot also has a pretty low priced truck rental setup (under $50 per day and no per mile charge or something along those lines).

Very tempting. I'm going to price out a truck rental when I get home. Thanks for the tip on Home Depot. Enterprise would run me about $200 plus gas.

Home Depot and Lowe's intend for the truck rental to be used for large items from their store. I've done it once, but the last time- they threw that large appliance thing on me. I don't know if it's enforced or what. I figured I could pick up a few bags of cement and then return all but one later on. I wound up making other arrangements due to the hassle factor.

Five bags of cement = about $15 and would be a good excuse you know.

Gary is in line behind Dave. ;)

SM, Dave is good people. Hell, I'd go so far as to say Dave is "best" people.

Just FYI.

wow man for real?? one of these will never show up around here. Bump for an awesome deal!!!!

if i had one id have to deconvert it back to time traveler...

I'll be very tempted to convert it back to Time Traveler if I wind up getting it *crosses fingers.* I've never played Holosseum, but I played quite a bit of Time Traveler when I was a kid. That hologram novelty holds a very special place in my heart.

As far as I know, it isn't a conversion. there were two games made for the hollosseum. One was time traveler (on laserdisk, no doubt), and the other was a fighting game (the one in this cab). BTW, dave's got dibs, and gary's second in line. Cab's officially ON HOLD till next friday pending pickup.

The problem with converting these back is that TT parts are next to impossible to find especially the lighted backbox....

Alot of TT's unfortunately met their fate with Mr. Dumpster.......:(

I'm cool with keeping it as Holosseum, but if I can track down the parts to switch it to Time Traveler without breaking the bank, I'd do it.

Anyone know what all is involved? I know TT is a laserdisc game and Holosseum isn't, but is that an easy swap? Would the control panel need to be swapped as well or is the Holosseum CP compatible?

Honestly, I'm just pumped to be getting a hologram game, period. I never thought I'd own one. I'll snap lots of pics when I get it home. I'm making the round trip next Friday. Can't wait!

Hey Dave, since getting this will require you to eliminate one of the games in your arcade, you can store your Tron at my house! :D With no storage fees whatsoever, for as long as you want!
