Just picked up this cabinet. No stickers or anything suggesting the original game. Anyone know what the original cabinet may have been?

That monitor was totally upside down. (Looks like it's a k7000). I believe someone flipped the wiring as all jamma games are playing right side up without dip changes.

I believe whoever installed it took it from a vertical position and converted it to horizontal. I've since removed the horizontal brackets and placed it vertically in the original brackets that lay flat with a slight incline. I believe that's the original orientation, but I still can't seem to figure out what the original game was. Only clue I have is the shape an the factory blue paint.

Mr Bill, that is correct, it can be mounted at 45, which I recently did (attached). But what's Coverta???

Convert-a-Game was a cabinet style created by Sega. They were used for games such as Tac/Scan and Monster Bash. Your cabinet does not seem to be an actual Convert-a-Game, (i.e.: produced by Sega), but the concept is similar.

I did not say it was a sega converta cab. I know what they are as I have 2.

The key to its maker is the fact that the monitor can convert. Very rare for generic cabs. Dynamo did it with the hs25. But this is probably before those came out.
