anyone here use a Willem programmer

was thinking of getting one for newer chips my 2 programmers cant do or i cant find modules to do them

was wondering i mean im not new to programmers but ... how are they to use i guess is what im asking

are they worth gettting
user friendly at all
come with documntation on use

doesnt look very user friendly

I need to be bale to program 27c801 and up my 29b doesnt come close and my emp20 can not do them with out the right family module chip I dont have my luck my module will do 27c080 wich is basicly the same i thought but says i need a dif module shrugs
 
I have a dual power willem that's always worked pretty well. The one thing to remember with Willem programmers is that you get what you pay for. They are cheap and don't always work well. The documentation is usually a PDF on a CD which has some mistakes (jumper settings are wrong, etc). The willem will definately do 27c080, but you'll have to change a few of the default jumpers to do them.
 
I have the USB. As stated above, info on it sux. The program it uses is flawed too on certain chips. If you know what you are doing, the program can be fixed to work properly with problem chips (2732/2532). External power requested for some chips is actually a flaw in prgm too. After fixing all the bugs, I can do all with no external power. For newbs doing basics (27128 - 27040) it is great and simple. I have not done the 8's yet to know if there is any issues or not.
