Anyone here going to "Too Many Games" Gaming Convention in PA??

www.toomanygames.com

Mostly console gaming stuff, but i know they have had lots of arcades on free play before. Im gonna be a vendor this year and was debating on bringing any bulky arcade stuff.

cool looking for anything arcade related? I have a pacman cab and a pleiades cab to unload, a working g07 with tube, nintendo vs stuff

I was planning on going, but it looks like I'll be travelling for work.

I don't think they had arcade games last year. They had a couple arcade games when they had it at Reading Expo center... They are back to the original hotel conference room and there isn't a lot of room.

The little conference room gets jammed like the mall at Christmas and its 99% console stuff. There will sometimes be one guy there selling Neo Geo carts or a guy with a box of miscellaneous marquee's, thats about it.

I'll be there. I go every year with a buddy that collects consoles.

We just reserved a room at the onsite hotel so I thought I'd bump this thread. :D I'm pretty sure this big dork here will be wearing a "Vidiot Arcade" shirt so be sure to give me a KLOV smackdown if you see me. :aetsch:

(now that I think about it, I may have my KLOV shirt on...)

I'll keep an eye out for ya!

We used to always go to Challenge Arcade in Berkshire Mall, which isn't far from the hotel. It was a fantastic 80's style arcade. I heard they were having some trouble and now I've heard that it has been closed. We'd actually spend more time there than at the show.

Chuck asked me to be the event's arcade sponsor. You guys may see me there. I am probably gonna haul 3 games to the shindig. Any suggestions? One will be DK (Because it is what I am currently playing) not sure what the other two will be

Could there be anything better than watching dozens of console nerds last for 15 seconds at Defender? ;)

LOL My vote for comment of the day!

How's the MoonWar treating ya?

Chris

Hey Chris... Its working fine, but I still never addressed the audio hum. Figured I'd start by disconnecting the marquee light and just work from there. I've been dedicating 100% of my spare time to finishing my gameroom. Right now Moon War, the Neo Geo and Golden Tee are half buried under drywall, wood and other various construction wreckage in my garage.

I'll drop you a line when the room is done if you're interested in playing some games. I'd estimate I'm at about 80% complete.

Sounds interesting as I hear that it is a blast there! Hope to go there one day.

Bah! That sucks about Challenge Arcade! I used to spend a couple hours there every time I was near there (usually every TMG/ECGX). Good to hear there will be some arcades at the show though... I usually tried to bring a few games when I went, but slacked the last time or two (my van wasn't available). I was hoping to bring a few minis/cocktails this time though.

That was really cool the first year when Challenge Arcade brought some games, and also the year that Todd brought all those minis.

PLEIADES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How bad do you want to unload it????????????

its kinda a gutted cab, good shape tho, no side art nice original G07 in it, it would have to be at least enough to load it up and bring it etc. lol
