im planning to making a mrs pac into "the glob" and was wondering what i would need to add the extra button. can i fabricate something or do i need a piece of the conversion kit?
thanks!

I have both The Glob and Beastie Feastie - awesomely fun games. Honestly, I don't know what you will need to do to hack the panel, but I can tell you that on The Glob, there are buttons on both the right and left side of the joystick for right or left handed players to play. Much more fun than Ms. Pac/Pac Man IMO.

@Dr.Boom - do you have cabinets with artwork? I have a friend with a bunch of glob artwork and would love to see what's on your cab.

Were you the dude I helped get that Glob kit out of SD all those years ago? I always wished I woulda kept that stuff, no offense (if it was you).

I've got a pac cab that was converted to glob, then to williams 1942. Some of the glob side art is visible still.

Ha - yup, that was me. :)

And unfortunately there is no side art - I do have the marquee and control panel. There is a set of NOS The Glob art on eBay right now though...

I have a "The Glob" conversion kit I put on a Pac board. I don't think I had to do anything... I'm pretty sure it just uses the Start button inputs.

Was The Glob ever featured on a Pac multi-board?

AFAIC, it's 100% ArcadeSD-worthy! :D

That is NOT NOS artwork, that's some guy selling ink jet knock offs. He's been selling lots of stuff on eBay. Buyer beware.

This can be used, then you do not have to hack the Ms. Pac-man control panel.
