Anyone have one of these VR games from the early 90's

I played it once in college, made me nauseated but it was cool, very Lawnmower man.

I also tried the driving simulator:

These were based on the Amiga hardware. I know of one in storage (the guys wants like $15K for it)

I'd pay between $1K to $2K for a working one.

In New Orleans they had two of these in the boardwalk arcade in Six Flags before Katrina decimated the theme park for good. I played it - it did make me nauseous but it was sort of fun once you got the hang of the controller.

That's funny, I know a guy that has a PacMan VR in storage. He said he wants $10K for it.

And in storage those will stay!

They may have bneen expensive when they were new, but not they wouldn't make much money in any location.

they brought 2 of them to the cafeteria in our student center and let us all play it. Was pretty interesting, I don't remember feeling sick, but do remember sucking...

WOW your college bought them!? Mine just rented them for a day. I am surprised that no one here has one!

The 1000s were based on Amigas. The 2000s were PC based. They had a graphics processor card that was RISC based to do the computations.

I had an option to buy one about a year ago. It turned out that it was 2 sets of 2 linked pods (4 pods altogether) with 2 games. I offered the guy $500 before I knew what it was he was selling. A few months ago he said he'd take $500 for the set, but once I knew how much stuff there was I turned him down. The set basically fills a 10x15 storage unit.

He thought all the pieces were there, but no gurantees that it would work or if all the manuals were there. I passed. I thought it would be really cool, but I have no place to store that much stuff on the off chance that it might work.
