Anyone have any info on the SFII CE Turbo Double KO version

This came in a cab that I picked up at a yard sale. Don't know much about it as im not a big SF player. Rebuilt the game and it's been in a retro cade for the past year. It's home now and I'm curious about it because I can't find any info on it. What I do know is it has all the normally characters and pressing the P1 during game play changes the character like in Hyper Fighting. I've been told this may be some sort of beta release.

Pressing p1 in hyper fighting doesn't change characters. That only happens with some of the bootlegs. Theres a handful of youtube videos on the double ko boots (which to be clear, what you have there is a boot, but I'm guessing you already knew that). Anything you were looking to know in particular? Would you post a pic of the board?

It's a normal champ edition board.

Woah! I remember back int he day playing the beta of SFII' at Sunnyvale Golfland.

Do the roms have a hand labeled sticker on them?

So replace roms 21-23 with those from any of the official ce sets or the hf set and convert it back to legit. Unless you prefer the boot play.

Dump 21-23 and see if they already match one of the hacks out there. SF2 had lots of unofficial hacks bitd, I think rainbow edition was the most well known
