Just got a good deal on this video poker machine.
It's pretty plain, any know where I can get a new marquee and front graphics for a video poker? This one takes quarters. If you have one in your game room, did you convert to tokens or leave it for quarters. This machine is "almost" 25 yrs old, which would then make it legal in Washington state (25 or older).

Does that machine actually give you money back?

Yes, it has a hopper, coin agitator that lines up the quarters and even a coin comparitor. Yep, seems like the real deal. That's why I am thinking to converting it to tokens until it's fully 25 years old.

If I switch the quarter in the coin comparitor with a token, will that work?

I don't, but I'd love to have something like that one! More of a bar thing than an arcade thing, but that was the same reason I wanted a Golden Tee.

It should. Never used one so don't know if it has to be reset or something. They have instructions on their website for their mechs. I guess my question would be if the hopper can handle your tokens properly.

I had a friend of mine's poker machine for awhile since he needed it repaired. It didn't have a hopper in it or anything, and since the board had all kinds of stuff blown up on it (looked like it was plugged in backwards), I gutted it and put a pc running mame in it and used roms for a "Sigma 2K" poker game. There was a trick or 2 I had to do on the first bootup since that game expects a hopper and all, but it was easy to do.

I love how your machine says "for amusement only" and then has a hopper inside.

Agree! But I am really trying to diversify the gameroom. Some of my female friends save, I don't like arcade games and I don't like Pinball. So I'm trying to get a nice variety going. I added that Mega Touch Ruby this week also! And working on a Pachinko machine to add also. Skee Ball would be nice, but not the room it takes up.

Hopefully, you will be able to fix it.

The only "poker" style games or cabinets that came into my possession were either converted or restored (classic game conversions). Even my Midway Touchmaster got converted to a digital jukebox. :)

So many classics were converted to poker or the like that I consider it my mission to convert as many poker machines to classic games as possible. :)

I don't think they're all that rare, given most casinos had at least 10 of them. :p

For serious, I've been thinking about getting one at some point in time. Lucky for me, there's a guy downtown who runs a shop servicing and selling these things (among other oddities).
